Sheeply privacy policy

Sheeply is a cozy sheep-ranch game. This policy explains what the game stores about you and why.

What we store

• Your ranch: your game progress (sheep, buildings, goods, levels), the ranch name you choose and the picture you pick. This is needed to save your game and let you play on more than one phone.
• A random account ID and friend code, created the first time you play. They let friends find you.
• Friends and social actions: who you are friends with, gifts, help, stickers, trades, requests, club membership and leaderboard scores.
• Google account (only if you link it): your Google account ID and email address, used only to sign you in and restore your ranch. We never see your Google password.
• Email sign-in (only if you set it up): your email address and a one-way, salted hash of your password (PBKDF2-SHA256). The password itself is never stored and cannot be read back. Used only to sign you in and restore your ranch.
• Notification token (only if you allow notifications): used to tell you when a friend sends a gift, helps, or answers a trade.
• Reports and blocks: if you report or block another rancher, we keep who sent it, who it was about, the reason, and a copy of the names being reported, so we can review it. The rancher you report is not told who sent it.
• Daily ranch backups: one copy of your ranch per day for the last 7 days, so we can put it back if something goes wrong.
• Transfer codes: a one-time code you ask for in Settings to move your ranch to a new phone. It expires after 24 hours.

What we don't do

• No ads, no tracking, no analytics or advertising SDKs.
• We don't sell or share your data with anyone.
• We don't collect your location, contacts, photos or other files.

What other players can see

Your ranch name, picture, level, number of sheep, likes, your ranch layout when they visit (not your coins or goods), club membership and leaderboard scores.

Keeping and deleting data

Your data is kept while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time: in the game open Settings → Delete account, which removes your ranch, sheep, friends, messages, trades, requests and club membership from the server straight away. Without the app, use the account deletion form at playsheeply.com/delete-account or email the address below with your friend code; it is removed within 30 days. Deleting your account also deletes its daily backups.

Children

Sheeply is suitable for all ages. It has no chat, no ads and no purchases. Names that players type are limited to ranch and club names.

Where data is stored

On Cloudflare's servers (Workers, Durable Objects and D1), encrypted in transit with HTTPS.
